Hmax 720x510 / template for building your own base plate with our parts / Attention: Our new Hmax measurements have changed to 720 x 520 mm

Hmini 640x420 Hmax 720x520 / Hxl 800x540 / Hxxl 850x620 Hxxxl 1280x620 mm

You can change the measurements of the base plate when building your own trailer using our parts. You will find the exact drilling measurements for each part in the above template.

Distance hitch adapter
Important:
Always measure from the middle of the front edge. Or place your trailer centered behind your bike for finding your individual position for the hitch adapter.

Positions for wheel axle clamps

The position for the wheel axle clamps must be measured from the rear edge of the base plate. Alternatively you can determin your own ideal position depending on how the load will be spread over the trailer. The positions for the clamps differ depending on whether you use 16 inch or 20 inch wheels. We have found that the best position for the wheels is a slight offset from the center towards the rear of the trailer. This minimizes a possible rocking motion.

Important: If you plan to build a rather narrow trialer the adapter for the hitch must be positioned centered. This in turn requieres a special hitch arm which is availabe at our shop. You can't safely tow a narrow trailer where the hitch arm runs off center.
